We provide medical protection to our community with licensed Critical Care Paramedics, Paramedics, EMT-Advanced, and EMTs.  We provide fire protection to our community with nationally certified Structural and Wildland Firefighters.  Seventeen full-time employees and numerous Paid Call employees maintain emergency staffing 24 hours a day - 7 days a week.

We respond to approximately 500 fire calls per year, ranging from structure, wildland, vehicle fires, vehicle accidents, and good intent calls. We also respond to approximately 1500 ambulance calls per year ranging from medical, trauma, transports, and good intent calls.

We provide continuous protection from three stations:

  • Station 1 is located in the City of Rexburg
  • Station 2 is located in the Townsite of Archer.
  • Station 3 is located in Sugar City.

We are available to give tours and we also provide free Emergency training, CPR instruction, and First-Aid classes upon request. Please check the Public Education link for more information.
